Sincerely 'Fro Me to You - meme

The memory I'm going to share with you today, takes us back to April of 2004. My husband, sister and myself along with 200 other singers/actors boarded a plane at DFW airport and flew to Seoul, South Korea to perform the musical "The Promise" at Jamsil Olympic stadium.

We arrived to a very warm Seoul, but the scenery was absolutely beautiful! :D You haven't seen azalea's until you've seen them in South Korea covering an entire hill in fuchsia blooms! Oh my they were GORGEOUS! (sorry I don't have the picture right now)

We had rehearsals for 4 days on the massive stage...

which was a Football fields length long and 5 stories tall. All scaffolding my friends... all scaffolding & wood! At times it was scary. You learned NOT TO LOOK DOWN! :D (haa, haa)

We held auditions for all the lead roles while in Korea. This is a picture of me auditioning for the Marketplace soloist singing "In the Name of the Lord".

I was so excited to get to audition for the part, because it was a role that I had been wanting to play for years now. I was blessed and I GOT THE PART!! :D Yippee!!
(here's me in costume. I LOVED my headdress! And that is Kevin, a friend, who was the Arise Angel)
We performed & shared the gospel of Jesus Christ to over 100,000 Korean people in 4 days. They were so excited to see the show and several hundred accepted Christ as there personal Lord and Savior. It was an awesome site to see and it was Such a Blessing to be a part of it!

There's my little memory for today... I could write a book with more details of this trip, but this is a memory and so I only touched the TIP of the iceburg for this memory. Maybe I'll share more later on - if you enjoyed this. Thanks for reading!
