Finally Fabulous

I colored my hair PINK!
I am sooo excited about it, because I've wanted to do my hair pink for quite sometime now. I wanted to achieve the Joss Stone look, but didn't have the $$ to pay someone to do it, so I did it myself. Actually my friend Erin helped me! And I LOVE IT! It is a chunky pink. Well you'll see for yourself.... take a look at the pic below!

Changes Oh Changes...

that seems to be the only constant thing around here lately is CHANGE. Ahhh gotta love it!

Japheth is changing not only in looks, but is obviously in full fledge toddlerhood now. He is learning & picking up sooo many things. It seems he is learning a new word everyday. He can say: Caar (which is his favorite), ball, Hi, kaker (cracker), gircle (circle), biper (diper), bo-bo (bottom), gey (key), cock (clock), kiken (chicken) and Uh-oh (which is also a fav). He knows the sounds of a few animals and can do the sounds for you when you ask.....what does a doggy say, he makes the ruff ruff sound. If you ask about a kitty cat he says meow and if you ask about a monkey, he smiles really big, puts his hands up to his armpits and say ahh-ahh- ahh! OH IT IS SO FABULOUS! That one is MY favorite!

Continuing on with change.... I am no longer having to work a PT job. Why you ask? Because Thom got a summer job. He is working for a moving company driving trucks and packing up houses for them. Wooo Fun, fun, fun! Not really, but it is a job and he is bringing home a paycheck. PRAISE THE LORD!! So TWO changes there. The sucky part, he isn't home with us during the day and he isn't getting much of a summer break from school/work.... but that is life right now. The Lord provided a job so we aren't going to complain.

I am no longer doing Weight Watchers. At least not through the WW's meetings and all. Can't afford the meetings and all right now. Soooo hopefully I can rejoin the meetings and all soon. I am still trying to do this WW thing on my own. We shall see how it goes. I just found that once i joined WW's, I thought about food more. As in, I thought about it ALL the time and it made me feel guilty if I ate something that wasn't on the core or flex plan. So I didn't like that. But I did lose a few pounds on WW's, which is a definite plus!

Anyway, I think that that is it right now... I can't think of anything else right now that has changed, but if I do, I'll be sure to let you know. -tata for now!

Sorry I've been lacking in posting, but have I got GREAT NEWS for you moms/wives out there. I stumbled upon an AWESOME website tonight thru a woman's blog page (Todays Daily Dose - see blog link) I saw on a Cafemom group post.
The Awesome website is www.coupons.com
