Today's Memorable Fun!! No Venting Today...

So I thought that with my last two posts being some serious venting, and you all so graciously allowing me to do so (Thank you), that I would lighten things up a bit and treat you all to a little fun!! Or at least let you in on some FUN that I had today!

A friend & I decided to go shopping (actually I would call it more like browsing, because shopping requires spending that green stuff called money) on the fancy - dandy - historic square downtown.
The square is filled with these cute little shops with nick-naks, odds & ends and antiques. Super Cute!! You NEVER know what you're going to stumble upon in these little shops, and we hit the JackPot today!!

Here are some of our Groovy finds...

*Happy Birthday ________* Elton anyone?

*Beam me Up! ________* Velvet Cateyes Yall!!

My friend bought the Velvet cat-eye glasses for me as a late Christmas gift... Awesome huh? They'll look FANTASTIC with the makeup I've been playing around with. (which will be a future post & reveal!)

Next goody we found:

Is this not something that immediately peaks your curiosity? I mean really?? I didn't open the book or even pick the thing up, because I was afraid of what "memorable encounters" I would actually FIND inside!! I was afraid there might be pictures...or er.. something. YIKES!!

And then last... but not least, I found this line of T-shirts that are hand dyed with Texas Red Dirt. If your from Texas you understand, but if you're not, I'll explain. Texas has several different types & colors of soil or dirt, within the state. Around here we have what is called 'Red Clay Dirt' and it is a burnt red orange color. Anyway, they take the dirt, turn it into mud and then they dye the shirts with it. Neat T-shirt line I must say. They had several really quirky tees, but this one was my favorite!!

LOL!! Heck yeah, I love it!! HOOK 'EM Horns!!

So there you go my friends. My fun day of shopping on the square. I hope you enjoyed all of the neat little Groovy finds that I found today! I enjoyed snapping the pictures. :D
