It isn't going very well. In fact, the last trip to the potty, he REFUSED to go in to the bathroom. I just about had to DRAG him in. We are sitting on the potty seat with "Big Boy Underpants" on, (aka: Pull-Ups) and he DOES NOT, I repeat, DOES NOT like sitting on the Potty seat. He whines and wants to get down. The plus side, he does enjoy getting the Car sticker and putting it up on the chart though.
OH WHAT DO I DO?? Do i keep at it tomorrow? OR Does this mean he isn't ready yet?
We started this because he was showing signs of readyness and now I am wondering if it is too soon. Do I keep on today and then go back to diapers tomorrow and wait a week and try again?? OR Is this a normal reaction and I just need to keep on keeping on with this??
MOMMIES HELP ME!!! I need Wisdom bestowed upon me here, cause I have NO IDEA what to do! I am getting frustrated and it's ONLY DAY ONE!! Uh-oh!!

its actually not to bad if you stick with a program or ... whatever its called. i didn't really push it though. i let him do his thing when he wanted.
Hey Hollie:-)
I think you're doing fine, girl. I remember something that our pediatrician once told us -- she said, "I've never seen a kindergartener with diapers on." In other words, it may take some kiddos longer than others, but eventually mother nature and postitive peer pressure will catch up with them.
So definitely keep up the PT duty (or is it "doodie"?:-) But also give yourself a big dose of grace -- your little man will come along sooner or later.
In the mean time, one tool in our toolbox that helped was a little Sesame Street story book called "I Can Go Potty." The kids loved it. However, I was forever scarred by seeing illustrations of Bert and Ernie going poop. . .
