Hey, I'm here. :) I just don't always get blog reading in every day - I sit down and catch up on several days worth all at once.
There's no magic formula, unfortunately. But there ARE some steps to take. I'm gearing up to start my series about blogging. Posted about it today.
Some of the factors are: 1.) Writing frequently. If readers know you'll keep having new content they'll keep coming back. 2.) Writing with your personality - keeping your blog interesting and fresh. 3.) Participation. Involving your readers on your blog with events, carnivals, asking questions, etc and participating on other blogs in their carnivals, event and questions.
One thing to note, bigger blogs with larger followings have less time and more competition for attention. Unfortunately, we may faithfully follow blogs that don't even know we exist. It's not intentional, but it's the way it works, and we need to make sure we don't take it personally. However, over time, it is possible to be recognized as a faithful follower, so go ahead and follow the blogs you love best.
I actually follow your blog. If you go to my blog you wills see that I have a link to your blog under blogs I follow. I didn't answer the Christmas questions becuase I had already done it through the LMP blog. Because I follow your blog it lets me know when you have posted something new. Have a great day. Teresa

Dearest Holly,
Please contact me through the e-mail at my blogger page dear one, I love you and you are not alone.
I'm thinking of the sweet picture we had taken together at the Siesta Fiesta PJ party.
I'd love for us to pray about this one - together. Please contact me.
With hugs across the miles,
Lora
